Continuing a story-based approach, dance company TheMASSIVE re-imagines Wolfgang Von Goethe’s masterpiece. The production features an intense, contemporary soundtrack, as well as a revamped story drawing on concepts put forth in C. S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters, and sees the demon Mephistopheles taking center stage as a sultry temptress.

“The flickering white images on a black cyc wall entertain the audience before the cast of Faust leaps into action. Those images are evocative of flames and the writhing damned in a traditional vision of Hell” K.D. Hopkins Chicago Theatre Beat
