March 2012

Anna Henson is selected to premiere her new work for Red Tape Theatre's CFANN event on April 14, 2012. Her piece, entitled "The Glass Inward" is a 4-hour durational installation performance involving two actors, a Victorian theatrical illusion, and an investigation into notions of gender reflected through Virginia Woolf's fantastical biography, "Orlando," with original text by Kristin Idaszak.

January 2012

Anna Henson is Associate Video Editor for Court Theatre's World Premiere of Ralph Ellison's "Invisible Man," the first-ever staging of the famous novel. Receiving rave reviews, the show was directed by NYC's award-winning Christopher McElroen, and projections designed by Alex Koch.

Anna Henson designs projections for World Premiere of Jon Steinhagen's new play, "Blizzard '67" at Chicago Dramatists. The production was Jeff Nominated and received 4 stars in Chicago Theatre Beat.

September 2011

Anna Henson designs projections with Rasean Davonte Thomas for TheMASSIVE's production of FAUST, directed by Kyle Vincent Terry. The production received 4 stars in Chicago Theatre Beat.

May 2011

Anna Henson is visiting lecturer in the Art Department at Cornell College.

April 29-30, 2011:

Anna Henson curates program of 11 international experimental films + post-screening discussion with filmmaker Hisham Bizri, pioneering experimental film curator Sally Dixon, and artist Lynn Lukkas at the 2011 Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival.
